Police brutality

Do you ever wonder why the police are always being made fun of or why many people do not like them? I am sure your not wondering this because you are well aware of the tremendous mistakes made by this higher authority.
On August 9th around midday in Ferguson, Missouri an18 year old, African American man, Michael Brown, was shot by a police officer and left on the floor for hours. What people don’t understand is why did the police officer have to shoot? It is said that brown had moved towards them in a weird manner. He did not reach for anything but just walk past them, trying to get to his destination with one of this friends.
The police keep committing these senseless acts and most of the time they get away with it because of their title: police officers. Parents not only have to worry about their child in the streets, but also around the police. Aren’t they there to help the citizens and keep them away from any danger, but why did they have to kill an unarmed young man?

Tons of respect for police officers has been lost in Ferguson because of this case and if things like this keep occurring everyone will soon dislike there higher power. What the police need to do is set better laws so that when a cop commits a crime they have the same laws as a regular civilian. Don’t we tax payers’ pay for other weapons that will not kill people like batons and tasers? If change does not occur there will be more and more deaths of unarmed people by police officers.

With all the publicity in Ferguson and across the nation, the feds jumped on this case. They have launched a full investigation on the murder of this 18 year old. The faster they conduct their search the faster it will give respect to the people. And it will show the authority of Ferguson that there is pressure to handle things more responsibly.
